Customer in the spotlight: Electrabel
Since 03/2006 Yoeri Thermote has been working as a Project leader (ITPL)
in the Electrabel ITS department. During this period Yoeri has been leading
several challenging projects:

The revamp of the existing web self-care functionality for residential and soho customers
(self-registration,
reset password,
change password), using advanced techniques like AJAX. (project scope: 165 mandays, 4 months elapse time) |

The Implementation of a
simplified registration process,
based on an activation code, printed on the invoice. This required interfacing with a SAP IS-U system.
(project scope 105 mandays, 3 months elapse time). |

Finalising the implementation of a new extranet for "Retail and Building Managers" segment
(2 months crisis management). Amongst other services, a SSO construction has been set-up
with an external purchase centre platform. |

Implementation of the 2007 products & services offering for residential, Soho and Retail
customers (increase of electricity and gas prices). This required:
- the modification of 2 SAP IS-U systems (CRM, Billing, PWB, DOC1)
- the modification of a (Selligent-based) CRM system
- the modification of extranets for residential customers,
for soho customers and for Electrabel Erkende Partners
- the development of an online tool to follow-up consumption
(project scope: 1200 mandays, 9 months elapse time) |
